VascVita is built with a privacy-first architecture. The app provides vascular wellness insights without requiring directly identifiable personal information. Users maintain full control of their physiological data.
Data Collection & Use
Personally Identifiable Information
We do NOT collect names, emails, contact information, or account identifiers.
Demographic Information
- Data Used: Age and biological sex
- Purpose: Used only for wellness score calculations
- Handling: Processed locally or in de-identified form
Health Inputs
- Data Used: User-entered blood pressure values
- Purpose: Improves wellness trend accuracy
- Handling: Stored locally or processed in de-identified form
- Note: Data is not clinically verified
Activity Data
- Steps, METs, and sleep data
- Accessed only with user permission via Apple Health or similar frameworks
- Stored on the user's device
Wellness Scores
- Generated vascular fitness scores and trends
- Used for personal wellness tracking
- Stored locally or de-identified
Privacy Safeguards
Zero-Knowledge Architecture
Server processing, when required, is limited to mathematical computation and cannot identify users.
Permission-Based Access
Activity data is accessed only with explicit permission and can be revoked anytime in device settings.
No Data Sales or Sharing
VascVita never sells, rents, or shares user data with advertisers, insurers, or third parties.
User Control
- No account creation required
- Users can delete all data by deleting the app or resetting app data
- If permissions are revoked, data access stops
- Scores are visible only to the user
HIPAA Status
VascVita is a general wellness application and is not a healthcare provider. The app does not connect to medical records or healthcare providers.
Tracking
VascVita does NOT use tracking technologies, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking.
